Ceramic with lustre and cobalt decoration
Iran, Kashan, late 12th century
Height 6.4 cm; Diameter 15.5 cm
This lustre and cobalt bowl features a radiant decoration of birds alternating with floral registers on the inside, and calligraphy in lustre under a cobalt glaze on the outside.
(broken and glued, restorations).
A small terracotta bowl with incised decoration on white slip and green enamel (accidents), probably from Cyprus, 14th - 15th century (Diameter 13 cm; Height 6.5 cm).
