Ptolemaic armillary sphere in wood, printed paper and red highlights; brass and blackened wood base. The sphere features the five circles of the meridian, arctic, antarctic, equator and ecliptic, on which are inscribed the names of the signs of the zodiac and their symbols. In the center, a globe shows the main continents and geographic contours. Circa 1800 Total height: 12.5 cm (minor accidents and restorations, missing parts including the fixed structure of the sphere)
