Graphite pencil, watercolor and gouache on paper, signed in pencil lower right, countersigned and titled in pencil on reverse.
Includes a short biography of the artist on verso: "Louis Riou, né Louis Adolphe Riou, le 19 novembre 1893 à St Étienne. Exhibited at the Salon d'Automne and the Salon des Tuileries. Awarded a grant from the Algerian government. Illustrates Pages Marocaines by Henri Bosco".
