BAUDELAIRE (Charles). OEUVRES COMPLÈTES. Paris, Lévy, 1868-70. Seven in-12 Bradel volumes of gray-blue cloth with corners, smooth spines decorated with a gilt fleuron, gilt date on tail, ivy-green chagrin title-piece, covers preserved (Period binding). The spine of the cover of the 7th and last volume has not been preserved, the preserved covers have been doubled with some minor restorations, rubbing to the title-pieces. FIRST COLLECTIVE EDITION, partly original. Les Fleurs du mal is enlarged by 25 new poems; appearing for the 1st time are Petits poèmes en prose, Curiosités esthétiques (excluding the two Salons) and L'Art romantique (excluding Gautier and Wagner). The Fleurs du mal volume is complete with the frontispiece PORTRAIT, with the date 1868 on the title page and 1869 on the front and back covers. ¶ Clouzot, 46: "Extremely important edition.
