Ibis enclosing a bird mummy It stands on folded legs. The skin is chiseled, as are the back feathers. Missing eye inlay. Stuccoed wood, bronze. Egypt, Late Period (664-332 B.C.) Height: 26 cm; length: 40 cm Provenance: - Acquired in Luxor from Mohamed El-Hassani Mohamed Hassan on April 15, 1971 (given as 18th dynasty). Copy of the original invoice. - By descent.
