Gilded copper stirrups, with rectangular, convex soles and wide, curved branches, featuring rocaille-style floral decoration of foliage and scrolls around a central ovoid medallion. Branches linked by an arched stem topped by a ring.

Faded gilding in places, scratches, several restorations and soldering.
A pair of large flat-soled steel stirrups with traces of red polychromy and stamped silver trim on one side of the stem and ring, North Africa, 19th century, 15.5 x 22.5 x 18 cm; missing and corroded.
