Two poetic calligraphies from the same album, Iran qâjâr, 19th century Calligraphies on paper in Persian, signed nasta'liq shekaste in black ink, the first with 12 horizontal lines and dated 1294 H / 1876, the second multidirectional. Both signed 'Abdollah. These texts come from the Haft Awrang (The Seven Thrones) of the Diwân of Jâmî'. The calligraphies are varnished and mounted on album pages with a border of gold stars on a pink background, fine colored borders and a wide red margin. Dim. calligraphies: 16.9 x 9.4 cm and 16.8 x 8.4 cm; dim. pages: 32.5 x 18.7 cm Minor accidents. Provenance : Collection of M. Mohajer Two Qajar Pages of Poetic Calligraphy, Iran, 19th century
