Calligraphic exercise siyah mashq, Iran qâjâr, signed 'Abbâs ibn Yahyâ and dated 1837
Calligraphy on paper in Persian nast'aliq in black ink of two horizontal lines framing several oblique lines, signed 'Abbâs ibn Yahyâ and dated in smaller characters 1253 H / 1837. Mounted on an album page with a border of gold rouelles on a green background, thin colored borders and a wide red margin.
Calligraphy size: 13.5 x 7 cm; total size: 32.5 x 19 cm
Slight stains and a few folds.
