Two oblong manuscript folios on paper, the Devanagari text in black and red ink on the first, black on the second, 11 and 9 lines long. Each folio illustrated with a gouache painting, the first depicting Krishna riding on the shoulders of an acolyte, probably his brother Balarama, to steal the butter contained in hanging vases, the second depicting the child god seated on a lotus.
12 x 22 cm; 9 x 19 cm
Small accidents, paper curling, stains, polychromatic shifts, layer of varnish on the painting of the second folio.
