An unconditional supporter of Robespierre, Levasseur devotes most of his memoirs to the period between August 10, 1792 and the fall of his idol. His activity was mainly that of a representative on mission to the armies operating on the borders and in the Vendée. An important and uncommon memoir. Lemière, p. 424. Fierro, 905.
