Monstrance or sunburst in silver. It rests on an oval base in the form of an inverted heel bordered by a frieze of openwork acanthus leaves. The shaft, set between three bezels of repoussé gadroons, is decorated with a knot of falling fruit framing a pomegranate and acanthus leaves at the base of the sun. The sun carries twenty-two straight, flamed rays framing two hinged glass walls. The monstrance is crowned with a cross.
