A Parisian varnish secretary with flap, opening to a drawer, two leaves containing a safe and a flap revealing four drawers and two compartments, the marble top with gallery resting on canted jambs, the panels decorated in cameo with gallant scenes in the taste of François Boucher (these panels were brought back at a later date), gilded bronze ornamentation with frieze of interlaces and rosettes, triglyph falls and framing rods; (accidents and restorations).
