Rare wedding box in boxwood or fruitwood (genus prunus), finely carved with minute remnants of red monochrome. Monoxyle box with sliding lid adorned with fillings, composed of two roses and arcatures, lattice friezes and a couple on either side of a bi-annual flowering vase, the man holding a belt, the woman a flowering branch; inscription in Gothic letters A GLAVDO ; circular reserve in the center to hold a mirror; sides decorated with two small panels underlined by Gothic arcatures and festoons; secret opening system, accessible under a small side, allowing a mechanism to be operated (missing).
