Carnelian oval intaglio decorated with two left profiles, one of a bearded man with a curly hairstyle, the other of a woman with her hair braided around her forehead; chased and enameled gold mounting with a mobile ring, black and white enamel; baroque pearl suspended from the lower part (silver wire).
Italy, 16th century
Total height 6 cm - Gross weight: 9.4 cm
(the enamels are very slightly missing, the pearl is old but has been restored)
