A/ Emperor Charles V in majesty, seated on his throne, head girded with the imperial crown and wearing the mantle embroidered with the two-headed eagle, holding sword and Orb. Inscription V . G . GNADEN . KAROLVS . DER . V . RO . KAISER . WART . GEBORN . IM - 1500 (Thank God Emperor Charles V was born in 1500).
R/ Christ enthroned, clothed in the purple mantle and head girded with the crown of thorns, holding the scepter and cruciferous orb. Inscription. IHESVS . CHRISTVS. AIN . KYNIG . IN . HIMEL . VND . DER . ERDEN . 1550 (Jesus Christ only king in Heaven and on Earth 1550).

Several examples of this medal are known, including one in silver in the Victoria and Albert Museum (inv. 351-1907) and another in bronze in the Melanchthonhaus in Bretten (Germany).
