Carved boxwood crib with nine elements: the Virgin Mary, Saint Joseph, the Child Jesus lying on a straw bale in a cradle, the three Magi including Balthazar holding a perfume burner, a turned vase, the ox and the donkey. All figures are kneeling or with one knee on the ground. The figures are finely sculpted, with some clothing details: fringed or scalloped edges, fur capes, brandebourgs, knotted sashes, boots. Northern Italy, late 16th/early 17th century H. 11.9 cm to 3 cm (very slight accidents and minor gluing)
