In chased, patinated and gilded bronze, the base is formed by a Victoire dressed in Antique-style drapery, standing with her feet joined on a half-sphere, her arms raised in front of her and carrying a bouquet of five lights - the central one missing - those of the corolla decorated with busts of Psyche supporting the binnacle. Quadrangular base decorated with applied lyres and palmettes. H without bouquet of lights: 55.5 cm Signed below the Rabiat base in cursive and at the end of another signature IRE Wear, oxidation, rust, incomplete light clusters, several elements missing from the center of the light arms, as well as a binet, some wicks missing and others of two different models. Drilled for electricity. Missing wings and detached wing. Related works : A similar model attributed to Claude Galle was delivered on December 23, 1809 for the Petit Trianon. Bibliography: D.
