Louis ARAGON (1897-1982). Corrected proofs, with title and 6 autographed lines, Les Voies aériennes by Boris Pasternak, [1966]; broadside in folio (65 x 15 cm.).
Article published in Les Lettres Françaises, May 12, 1966, on the occasion of the Gallimard release of four short stories by Boris Pasternak under the title Les Voies Aériennes. On this proof, which he corrected in turquoise ink, Aragon added the title and wrote the cap himself: "The collection Littératures soviétiques that Aragon directs at Gallimard is publishing these days, under the title of the first (Les Voies aériennes) four short stories by Pasternak. The text below is the foreword written by our director for this work". Let's quote the conclusion: "This unity of prose and verse is not chance, but the poet's profound design, and everywhere [...] he speaks to us only of his profound tragedy".
