Interesting correspondence, notably from the United States. May 5, 1897, letter from his daughter Léontine on the fire at the Bazar de la Charité.1899-1900, long letters from his son Antoine (1870-1906?) and his wife Louise, from New York, describing skyscrapers and trains on metal bridges (sketch); Washington, on the exploits of Admiral Dewey, and report of a reception at the White House by President Mac Kinley; Chicago, with Lake Michigan and its teeming population... Enclosed: 2 fascicules of speeches delivered in Poitiers, for the marriages of Auguste Véron and Léonine Aubaret and that of Count Antoine Aubaret and Louise Siry.
