Rosa BONHEUR (1822-1899) painter. L.A.S., By May 12, 1895, to General Perigot in Melun; 3pages in-8 (split in two and repaired), envelope.
She regrets having missed her visit, as well as that of Mme Auguste Ducrot; she was in Paris to visit the Salon. She was busy all week, and dined on the 17th at Mlle Garner's, "my sister of the brush", with the "master painter" Bouguereau, Mme Demont-Breton and her father Jules Breton, to "celebrate the decoration of my brother Isidore"... Enclosed is an autographed carte de visite with envelope to the same.
