This deed concerns a woman named Catherine de Heu, widow of Claude-Antoine de Vienne Clervant, Protestant leader and ambassador to Henri IV. A note at the end of the notary's document reads: "Claude Guerard Amant de Sainct Lyvier a le pareil en son arche".
Enclosed: (1) Receipt from Jean Vetz, Conseiller assesseur de l'Hôtel de ville de Metz, of sums paid to the Trésorier des revenus casuels, Paris, August 31, 1711, deed printed on parchment and executed in ink; (2) Quittance des droits de franc-fief délivrée au seigneur Wirtz de la ville de Metz versées au roi, Paris, April 15, 1717, deed printed on parchment and executed in ink; (3) other deed relating to the seigneur de Wirtz.
