I, good overall condition. RARE FIRST EDITION. Jeanne-Marie Leprince de Beaumont, whose real name was Marie-Barbe Leprince, (1711-1776), was a famous woman of letters. She is the author of some seventy volumes of children's stories, such as Beauty and the Beast, which have become classics of children's literature.
