(circa 1890), in-4 oblong, vellum boards richly decorated with gilt lace framing the boards on a red and white background with fleurons at the corners, smooth, ornate spine, gilt tr. in percal. folder. Worn red flap with label of the photographer Alinari & Cook, Fotografi - Editori, Corso, 90, Roma, with reproduction of the emblem of Rome the she-wolf gilt on the first board (ed. cart. worn and spotting to the folder). Reunion of 100 albumen photos of Rome and its monuments, mounted on strong cardboard and on 24.5 x 18.5 cm tabs. All photos are glued on both sides, captioned, some with numbers. Some foxing and spotting.
