In-8, bound in black half-chagrin with corners, spine ribbed, title edged with gilt fillet, very dark green endpapers, XIX-729pp, illustrated with 6 maps, the one on Palestine and Cilicia in fine is in full color, the 30 photographs printed on fine paper are h-t. The text is printed on "high-grade" paper, which has yellowed with age. First edition, 3 small scuffs on the spine, nevertheless a very good copy.
