In-8, bound in blue-green half-maroquin with bands underlined by a gilt fillet, smooth spine, slightly darker, decorated with the gilt title arranged vertically, a gilt fillet separating each letter, simulating a branch on which gilt dots, and symmetrical mosaic leaves, gilt head, cover and spine preserved(rel.de Max Fronsèque). Ex-libris of A. Villet. The 13 compositions by L.-E. Fournier were engraved by Xavier Lesueur. (3 h.-t. and 10 in-text). Edition of 400 copies, 150 on Japon. This copy is one of 25 on Japon (no. 63), or on grand vélin (no. 31 to 80), containing 3 states of the etchings: Eau-Forte pure and E-F définitive, both in black with remarks. This copy also includes 13 watercolor engravings and a duplicate of the 1st cover. The subscription form (2 ff.) is enclosed at the end, giving precise details of the print run. Apart from the difference in color, this work is in very good condition.
