TAILLEPIED (F. Noël). Recueil des antiquitez et singularitez de la ville de Rouen. Rouen, Martin Le Mesgissier, 1588, in-8, modern half marbled basane binding, 5-rib spine, gilt title, red edges, 8 ff.-265 pp.-2 ff. table. 2 bookplates, one illustrated. Short margins. 2nd edition just as rare as the first. Small central worm work on last 6 ff. with loss of some letters on last 3 ff., split without missing on f. Q4, small local wetness, otherwise in good condition. The title is adorned with the coat of arms of the city of Rouen supported by two angels, and bears on the verso the arms of Cardinal Charles de Bourbon, archbishop of Rouen, to whom the work is dedicated.
