Three modern-strung necklaces with prehistoric and protohistoric beads from the Near East Three necklaces with various prehistoric and protohistoric beads from the Near East. Including beads made of glass, faience and occasional semi-precious stone. One necklace consisting only of matching bronze beads from a Bronze Age necklace. In some cases several beads of the same type from ensembles that once belonged together. New arrangement and stringing. One specimen with modern sterling silver S-hook clasp, one with modern brass clasp, the bronze beads only threaded and knotted. Individual beads with chips. Length when open approx. 44 cm, 51 cm and 64 cm. Provenance: Westphalian private collection, acquired in the 1990s in the Rhineland art trade. Condition: II +
