A silver-mounted Chinese jewelry box, 19th century
Rectangular box made of partly ebonized wood. The front and back mounted with a finely curved silver border, the lid richly decorated with remnants of nielloed silver mounts depicting a peasant scene. A leg handle held by two protruding dragon heads in the center. Very decorative piece in good condition. Length 21 cm.
