Watercolor, charcoal, ink and pencil on paper. Collection of 25 watercolor drawings on heroic-mythological themes. Almost all signed, most also dated. Various formats, dimensions (without passepartout) approx. 19 x 16 to 25 x 28 cm.
Franz Reinhardt (1881 - 1946) was a Munich painter with a particular preference for mythological and religious pictures. After training at the academy (under Franz von Stuck, among others), he joined the Munich Secession. Today his works can be found in the Bavarian State Painting Collection and the Lenbachhaus, among others.
