Chaian Khoi and Robuste Odin, "Briefcase", Paris, circa 2000 Iron casket with horseshoe handle in the shape of a suitcase. Strong chain clasps on the long sides act as mock hinges, the front decorated with metal plates and a copper "bell" around the iron grid. Signed "Chaian Khoi" on recto, "Robuste Odin" on verso. Dimensions 38 x 37.5 cm. Chaian Khoi (b. 1963 in Tehran) is a prolific contemporary artist based in Paris, but also a frequent traveler. He works with various media (including digital) and mainly uses objets trouvés for his sculptures. He organizes or is shown in numerous exhibitions. Condition: II
