A French pressed wood and tortoise shell snuff box with battle scene, circa 1815
Burlwood, tortoiseshell inlay inside. Rectangular box with rounded corners. Raised battle scene on the lid, partly illegibly inscribed in French. Corner and lid with cracks. One corner damaged, inlay has bubbles. Measures 9.8 x 6.2 x 1.7 cm.
