Two German seals, 19th century
Solid brass matrix with finely carved coat of arms of the town of Bleicherode from ca. 1838. The inscription reads: "MAGISTRAT DER STADT BLEICHERODE". The edge marked "HUGO KOLB SUHL". Wooden grip. The second example with brass matrix and inscription in two registers: "GEWERBE VEREIN FÜR FEUER ARBEITER MÜNCHEN / U D DEMS ANGESCHLOS VEREINE D GEW MEISTER". Sturdy, asymmetrically faceted iron handle. Height 10.5 cm each, diameter 39 and 40 mm respectively.
