A Congolese cihongo mask of the Chokwe and a small Songye "fetish figure" Legless male figure made of hardwood with attributes of a warrior (iron shields). A predator's tooth on each side of the head, the entire body decorated with brass or iron studs. A sturdy snakeskin hoop around the neck with attached leg beads and a piece of bone. Snakeskin and animal skin around the hips. Somewhat rubbed, two bumps on the back. Height approx. 60 cm. Comes with an expressive male mask made of wood. Red and white painted face with decoration of brass rivets, cowrie snails and painted glass beads. Multi-part iron earrings. Hair made of plant fibers, textile remnants sewn to the sides.
