A porcelain ropemaker figure, Frankenthal, circa 1760
Porcelain, colorfully painted, partially painted gold. On a rocaille base with sculptural leaf and flower decoration. Cavalier leaning on a wheel and holding a cloth and ropes. The underside with a crowned blue CT mark. The flowers chipped. Rope restored. Height 17 cm.
