A Meissen porcelain tazza (centerpiece) with flowers and insects, circa 1900
Porcelain, painted in color, painted gold. On a round foot. Shaft with pressed nodus. The outside decorated all around with applied foliage and flowers. The inside of the bowl with a gilded braided pattern in relief. In the mirror a colorful bouquet of flowers framed by insects. The rim with five gold-framed cartouches, each decorated with a polychrome bouquet of flowers. The back of the bowl is also decorated with colorful painted insects. The underside with pommel mark and model no. The gold slightly rubbed, some of the flowers chipped. Height 22 cm, diameter 22 cm.
