A porcelain snake-handle vase with flowers, Meissen, circa 1900
Porcelain, polychrome painted, decorated in gold. Amphora shape. Colorful flower painting on both sides. Two handles on the sides in the shape of a pair of coiling snakes. Base, base of the wall and below the mouth with gilded tongue decoration. Bottom with pommel mark (1860 - 1924), "100199/101" in iron red and impressed mark "50822" and "810". Slightly rubbed. Dimensions 27.5 x 16.5 x 12 cm.
