Three Bavarian pewter jugs, Straubing and Deggendorf a.o., 17th/18th century
Three pewter jugs, each with tapered walls and sparsely engraved decoration. Two of the jugs have a sculptural mascaron at the base of the handle, two jugs have town marks on the handle. The small jug with a distinctive stand ring from Deggendorf (master's mark Caspar Friedrichs, became master in 1671), the large jug stamped with Straubing's town mark and master's mark Frantz Jais, master from 1699. Signs of age. Height 19 - 25 cm.
