Four Swabian/Franconian lidded pewter jugs ("Stitzen"), 18th/19th century
Four different pewter Stitzen, two of which have a protruding lid and slightly protruding spout. The largest jug from Ansbach with master's mark Johann Conrad Schaefers (1832) after the style of P. H. Schaefer (1791). Two chairs from Göppingen, the engraved taller jug with the mark of Johann Christoph Berners I (1716), the smaller example by Jeremias Wolsdorf the Elder (1731). The lidded jug marked with a shell-shaped finger rest in the lid (cut circle with snake and coat of arms at the top?), the surface slightly scratched. Height 13 - 24 cm.
