A Saxon pewter ring jug and two chocolate jugs, 19th century
Sturdy ring jug on a high, flared foot with finely chased walls and bird's head spout. Dated "1819", master's mark on the base (figure with sword and scales). Comes with two chocolate jugs, one from Bautzen with master's mark Christian Gerhardt Wahrmann, dated "1876", the other from Pirna (hinge defective) with master's mark Carl Adolph Böhmers. The jugs each slightly stained. Height 16, 23 and 37 cm.
