A Russian blue painted papier mâché and lacquer box with troika, probably Ostashkovo, Osip Vishyakov and Sons factory, late 19th century
Papier mâché, black lacquer, painted blue on the reverse. Silver foil inside. Polychrome oil painting on the hinged lid, covered with clear lacquer. Unmarked. Paint and foil with small defects. Dimensions 8 x 14 x 8.5 cm.
