Two Russian icons with oklad - St. Nicholas of Myra and St. George and the dragon, 20th century
Oil painting on wood. Large-format icon with St. Nicholas of Myra, heavily embossed metal oklad, decorated with flowers in relief, oklad with small defects. Oklad not opened. Dimensions 46 x 29.5 cm. Also a small icon with St. George as dragon slayer, flat metalloclad, stamped with hallmark "18K", nails hammered into the front, back with velvet cover, dimensions 17.5 x 14.5 cm.
