Two sabres and a jambia, Afghan/Indian, circa 1900
A tulwar and a pouluar with a strongly curved and somewhat rusty iron back blade. Typically shaped vessels, the knucklebow hilt silver-inlaid, the disc pommel of the pouluar somewhat detached. Comes with a jambia with a double-edged and slightly beveled blade, a silver-mounted horn grip and a wooden scabbard covered with nickel silver (flaws). Lengths 52, 83 and 90 cm.
