Two Japanese aikuchi, Showa period
One aikuchi with hira tsukuri blade, hada and hamon not recognizable, brass minting with inlaid silver stripes. Tsuka with lightly gilt bronze menuki and black handle wrapping over seed. Somewhat worn red lacquer saya with inserted kozuka with brass grip. Length 38 cm. The second aikuchi with a simple single-edged blade and etched "Hamon". Tsuka and saya covered with polished seed and with horn finials. Two copper fuchi with gilded insect decoration on the scabbard mouth. Length 39 cm.
