A Papua New Guinean bone dagger, circa 1900
One-piece dagger made from the long bone of a cassowary. Geometric notched decoration on the obverse side, remnants of red paint on the inside. Decorative beads, textile strips and cassowary feathers on one side. Length 30.5 cm.
