A close helmet, collector's replica in the style of the 16th century
Hammered skull of one-piece construction rising to a low, roped comb set between three flutes on either side. Pivoted visor of bellows form pierced with ten vision/ventilation slits, hinged before. Riveted neckguard of two lames, the lower edge turned and roped. Chiselled visor rivets, surrounding lining rivets. Partially somewhat spotty, traces of corrosion and delaminations. Height 29 cm.
