A German halberd, circa 1600
Long, square thrusting point, concave axe blade and cut grapple, each with trefoil perforations, multi-piece, conical socket with long quillons. Octagonal shaft with a two-part fringed guard and studded with decorative rivets. Broken below the lower finial. Length 253 cm.
