A German knightly sword in 14th/15th century style, historicism, 19th century
Sturdy, double-edged blade of rhombic cross-section. Triple narrow fullers on both sides of the upper third, two stamped crescent marks at the base. Straight iron quillons, broken on one side. Edged grip, the leather cover missing. Oval iron pommel with a diamond pattern cut on the side. Length 114 cm.
