A Badge of the Sénateur de l'Aisne M. Georges Ermant
Silver, partly gilt and enameled, worked in several parts and pinned, rigid, wide pin on the back for insertion. Dimensions approx. 55 x 40 mm, weight 33 g. In the original red-brown leather case with white silk and dark blue velvet lining, the lid with gold maker's inscription from Fayolle-Pouteau in Paris on the inside and the bearer's name "M. Ermant" embossed in gold on the outside. Signs of use and age. Georges Ermant (1852 - 1935) was a deputy from 1897 to 1904 and senator of Aisne from 1904 to 1930.
