A sabre for cavalry troopers, 20th century
Sturdy, slightly curved single-edged blade with fullers on both sides and a double-edged central point, the etched mark "AEC / Marca Registrada" at the root. Blackened iron basket hilt with the Brazilian star coat of arms stamped on it, ribbed brass grip scales. Blackened iron scabbard with a movable suspension ring and riding loop. Signs of use and age. Length 100 cm.
