An infantry sabre ("Sabre Briquet"), dated 1812
Sturdy, slightly curved wedge blade (stained, tip somewhat shortened), etched on the back "Mf ture Imple du Klingenthal Novembre 1812", three round acceptance marks ("K", "B", "L") on the obverse side. One-piece brass knuckle-bow hilt (darkened, traces of gilding), the stamp on the knuckle-bow plastered. Riveted renewed. Slightly damaged in places, signs of age. Length 72.5 cm.
